ABOUT US

Young Frozen Seafood is a Florida based importer of shrimp and fish from Vietnam. It is owned by Phuong Young, a Vietnamese American woman entrepreneur.

Young Frozen Seafood imports a variety of frozen seafood from the Mekong Delta. The suppliers we work with meet the highest standards of quality and have supplied large volumes of product to American buyers of seafood.

The factories we work with in Vietnam meet the highest standards of quality and operational efficiency.  They have achieved a variety of certifications that are only awarded to world-class producers of seafood.

 INTERNATIONAL FEATURED STANDARD

The International Featured Standard (IFS) is a global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) benchmarked standard for manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, agents and brokers. More information on the IFS is available here: https://www.ifs-certification.com/index.php/en/

HAZARD ANALYSIS AND CRITICAL CONTROL POINT

Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) is a systematic approach to the identification, evaluation, and control of food safety hazards. HALAL

BRAND REPUTATION THROUGH COMPLIANCE

Brand Reputation through Compliance (BRC), provides a framework to manage product safety, integrity, legality and quality, and the operational controls for these criteria in the food and food ingredient manufacturing, processing and packing industry. BEST AQUACULTURE PRACTICES

Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) is a seafood specific certification program that addresses the four key areas of sustainability—environmental, social, food safety, and animal health & welfare—at each step of the aquaculture production chain.
